Case Stories:
Using “the Cyclone” belt washer the results were: 3 gallons of water per minute with a total wash time of 45 minutes (one pass) = 135 gallons of water! 1/16th of the water used before. Case 2: Entenmann’s bakery in Bay Shore, NY had to stop production on a cookie spiral in the middle of the week for two hours to clean sugar and oil deposits off the belt. These deposits were causing an increase in belt tension that was shutting the spiral down.
Using “the Cyclone” belt washer they cleaned the belt in less than 30 minutes between a product change over. This saved 90 minutes of downtime at a cost of $16,000 per hour, for a total savings of $24,000 in the first week! Case 3: Wei-Chuan, a Chinese food producer, had problems cleaning their freezing tunnel belts. Two men, using high pressure sprayers, would work for four hours per freezer, yet they still had trouble cleaning well enough for USDA inspections.
Since getting “the Cyclone” they pass their USDA inspections with flying colors and those two men are freed up to do other work.
