Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQ) How does it work? Under the wash head there are two high pressure rotating spray nozzles that clean the surface from opposing angles. Please see the setup guide in the Document section. Can I use chemicals? You can run non-corrosive chemicals through the unit, however you’ll find you won’t need chemicals with the Cyclone . If your using a foaming sanitizing liquid, you can apply this to the belt after cleaning. How does it clean the bottom of the belt? Because the nozzles spray the belt at opposing angles, the spray wraps around the belt mesh. Please see the Application Guide for the type of belts you can clean. Can I clean oven belts? The “Cyclone” has been very successful in cleaning mesh oven belts. Please see the Application Guide for the type of belts you can clean. How about oven bands? Yes you can wash these too, however, the wash head should be placed over a part of the band where the water can easily run off. We have a special pan with wipers just for oven bands. What if I have a belt in an area far away from drains or over a wooden floor? You can use a drain pan with a long hose to a floor drain or run the pan’s drain hose into a dough trough or other wheeled container. How would I clean overhead cooling conveyors? The same as above, but you may want to mount the drain pans in permanent locations. Can you recycle the water? Yes, you could use a wheeled container, draw the water from it with the pump inlet (through a proper filter) and have the drain pan empty back into it. However, since the “Cyclone” uses so little water, there may be little advantage to this. See the Specification section for details Still have a question?
